My Job

What do I do?

I'm a stay at home momma who takes online college classes.

If all of my duties were actually mentioned, I would seem to have no time for myself, no time to do anything except my "work".

Even though it's what I do, I don't consider it work. I do it all for my family

I clean the house to keep my sanity so my family isn't living with a crazy woman.

I do laundry so my family has clean clothes to wear.

I cook occasionally so my family stays healthy. Right now cooking means mixing up a bottle of formula and asking daily what my husband wants to eat. We eat a lot of frozen food at this point.

I rock and cuddle my baby boy because I can and I want him to know that he is loved by his mommy.

I take online college classes to finish my degree so that when the time comes and I have to find work outside of being a stay at home mom, I can to provide for my family.

I decorate our house so that my family can have a beautiful place to call home that they are proud of.

I budget and pay bills to keep track of my family's money and make sure that we are on track for our future and keep our utilities on. ;)

I don't do this perfectly.
Actually I know that I am far from perfect.
I just do the best I can.

So for all you stay at home mommas and wives. What you do is important. It keeps your family a family

I know it can be discouraging. I know sometimes it is hard and you want to break down and cry. The laundry piles up, the dishes are in the sink, the house is a complete mess and you  haven't vacuumed or dusted for weeks, but it is all OK. No one can be absolutely perfect at their job. There is room for mistakes.
