Swim Zip Review

Sun care is a very important thing for me, especially for my children. I want to make sure they always make sure they are sun safe before they go play outside. Bryson is now trained this summer to make sure he has sunscreen on so he won't get burned. (I feel like I should get a pat on the back for that habit!)

SwimZip is a UPF 50+ clothing brand that is very passionate about keeping everyone sun safe. The founder of SwimZip, Betsy, was diagnosed with skin cancer at the age of 26. I can't imagine being in her shoes. At the age of 24 I know that I was not always sun safe as a teen. The whole mentality of I won't get a tan if I put on sunscreen! was what was on my mind as a teenager. I know that isn't true, but that's what everyone said that was my age 8-9 years ago.

Betsy is passionate about keeping her children, all children and adult's sun safe. This company is not just a swimwear company, but one that is running on love and drive for keeping everyone safe from the same cancer that Betsy experienced.

In past summers I have been big on making sure that Bryson has a rashguard. But goodness gracious! Those things are difficult to pull over the head if you buy the correct size for the rest of his body! SwimZip has came up with a fun, easy way to fix this problem. The zipper up the front is genius. The rashguard is so easy to put on and take off. Bryson actually likes to do it all by himself. If you are in the 2 or 3 year old stage you know that the phrase "all by myself!" is used quite frequently.

We chose the Stud Muffin set because it's incredibly cute. The swim trunks obviously represent the Kansas Jayhawks (they are a Kansas company after all!). Well we think they obviously do. Daddy was quite happy with this swimwear set when it arrived.

Another awesome aspect of the rashguard is that it can be used just as a shirt on those hot, sunny days where you know your child will be exposed to the sun for long periods of time. Extra sun protection is only going to help them out on those days! You could totally put this rashguard with a pair of jean shorts for a day out.

If you are looking for fun, affordable, easy way to keep your children sun safe from the sun this summer I highly recommend SwimZip. Go check out their fun designs yourself!

SwimZip sent me the swimwear for Bryson to wear. The links provided throughout the review are referral links so that I would be compensated for writing up the review, supporting SwimZip and promoting them through my blog and social media accounts. All opinions are my own.
